The hotel was a great place for enjoying a nice area, just off all restaurants. Very close to the beach and food shops. the location was great and beautiful - within walking distance of everywhere we wanted to go.

The personnel was very kind and nice, and the owner too. We stayed in an economy room complete with bathroom, balcony, as for instance. There was a wide array of food for breakfast, it was APPETISING. In general the service was excellent.

The room at East Beach Surf Resort was cozy and inviting, with a comfortable seating area and a private bathroom. It felt like my own little home away from home. As a laid-back traveler, I really appreciated the relaxed atmosphere and the cozy vibes of the room.

Personally, I wasn't a big fan of the air conditioning in the triple room. Others might enjoy it, but I found it a bit too cold for my liking.

The hotel was located in a prime location near the beach, which made it easy to enjoy the ocean view. the staff were very accommodating and went above and beyond to help us. They even organized amazing tours for us that allowed us to see the city's greatest attractions. The price for our stay was also reasonable and we received good value for what we paid.

The quality of the room was quite poor. " The lack of hot water and limited WIFI added to our disappointment.

The availability of free WiFi and a washing machine in the rooms was a huge bonus for us. It was convenient to have a kettle in the room, so we could enjoy a hot cup of tea whenever we wanted. The bathroom in our room was spacious and had a refreshing shower. The triple room we stayed in had air conditioning, which made our nights comfortable. The private entrance in the triple room added an extra level of privacy for our family.

Personally, we didn't need the free washing machine in the room as we prefer to travel light. However, we understand that others may find it useful.

I recently stayed at a wonderful hotel in Arugam Bay called East Beach Surf Resort. I was there for a short stay and the location was perfect. It was just a stones throw from the beach and a short Tuk Tuk ride from major restaurants, nightlife, and the main surfing area. The staff were great, always ready to help and create a positive atmosphere. The facility was well maintained with new and comfortable furniture. The food was good, especially the fresh juices for breakfast. it catered to all our needs with a reasonable menu, great WiFi, and a fab laundry service.

Can't recommend this hotel highly enough.
